I welcome Andy Burnham and his health team to Reading today (February 2, 2012), I even invited him to come and have a cup of tea with me. I'm not surprised he turned me down, he'd have had to deal with a few awkward truths. Andy knows that Labour is being totally dishonest about the changes to the NHS and he needs to be honest with the public.

In this country we do not allow prisoners to vote. It has long been the case (since 1870) that here in the UK we believe that individuals who have committed an offence serious enough to warrant a term of imprisonment should not be able to vote while in prison.
