I hold regular constituents' advice surgeries. These are strictly by appointment only. If you would like to book an appointment, please contact my constituency office on 0118 375 9785 or email

The surgeries rotate around different locations in the constituency to make them as accessible as possible to my constituents. They are held in:

  • Caversham (Constituency Office, Marsack Street, Caversham)

  • Woodley (Woodley Library)

Please note that there is no disabled access at the Caversham office.

The surgeries are open to all Reading East constituents and provide a platform for you to raise any issues or concerns with me as your Member of Parliament.

A map showing all of the surgery venues can be found here.

If you wish to raise issues pertaining to your immigration status or visa, please either write to me at the House of Commons or email me.

This allows me to assess the complexity of your case and will often save you time and unnecessary travelling expenses. If your case is complex you will be contacted by a member of my team and an appointment will be arranged at your convenience.

However, if you wish, you can also drop into my office in Caversham with all the details. Case details can be taken verbally by my constituency caseworkers, but if you need help with English translation please let me know in advance.  You can also bring a friend or advocate.

Some cases are routine and can be dealt with over the telephone.

This service acts as a convenient and inexpensive alternative, as it has not always been possible to deal in detail with the significant volume of immigration status and visa cases at a Friday surgery.
